Simple Empty Frames

THURSDAY:  Yeah!  Another Creation!

I do like decorating with frames.
Here is a simple and elegant way to display empty frames.

This is my bathroom shelf above the latrine.
I took old frames and painted them off-white, roughed them up with sand paper and brushed them with a brown glaze.
I did the same to my freebee shelf.

Added a burlap flower and called it good.
See my tutorial on no-sew burlap flowers here.

I made hanging mason jars and filled them up with ocean goodies from a favorite trip.

Oh, they still smell salty - mmmm.

  2. OOOOOOOOOO, I love it. The flower in the corner of the one...brilliant. It is just the right touch. I also like the way you hung the jars and filled them with the sea shells.

  3. I just saw your daily features in you side bar. What a wonderful idea. I love that you have set aside certain days for your posts. I might have to do up my own Daily Features List.
    Thanks for the inspiration.
